Another artist, Innocent Zungu, has wowed South Africans on social media by strutting his artistic flair creating art using sand and is becoming a hit on Facebook.
According to a post by Stefanie Minnaar, Zungu is a super sandman and recently moved his talent from Muizenberg to the Strand beaches.
In a post that has been shared 414 times and with 379 comments when Briefly.co.za penned this piece, Minnaar expressed shock after someone decided to destroy his work and took off with Zungu's tools after beautifully building the Big 5 animals.
The artist is wreaking havoc on the social media page as he continues to receive rave reviews through admirers from all walks of life. Said Minnaar on the ImStaying Facebook Page:
“This is the Supersand man. (Innocent Zungu)...He recently moved his talent from Muizenberg to the Strand.
“He built the Big 5 so beautifully. Within one week, someone destroyed his work and stole his tools. He posted on our local groups and a kind gentleman, Chucky, took him shopping to replace his tools.
“The next day he builds this VW Beetle with Chucky's name on to thank him. This man is so talented..Thank you Chucky, compassion and kindness make South Africa a better place.”
Taking a glance at the admirers, some are fully behind the artist and shared some words of support, saying tools can be stolen but not talent.
@Davy Baadjies said:
“They can steal your tools but they can't steal your God-given talent.”
@Ellen Margaret Hancke revealed how she first watched Zungu in action in awe:
“Innocent is an extremely fine artist...I watched him in action in several coastal towns..He is in a class of his own. I so deeply wish to have his work could be for sale...maybe in another permanent medium.”
@Heather De Villiers could not hide his sadness for the person who stole the artist's tools:
“I am sickened by the person who destroyed his magnificent work!! Karma will get them, (I hope) Chucky you are my Hero.”
As if the attention would only go to Zungu, @Ujah Faith also credited Minnaar for taking time and put the artist in the spotlight:
“God bless you Stefanie for exposing this talent and advertising the man. God bless you Chucky for the tools. Innocent may God send you more destiny helpers to elevate this Talent. What do you need to elevate your talent. God says ask and you shall receive.”
Although the man known as Chucky has ensured Zungu has new tools, a call is made by @Heidi Nicole Kolbe for more helpers to come on board and provide clay:
“Very talented indeed..imagine what he can create with clay and cement. Can't anyone out there please bless this young man with the clay, cement, and even a workshop? Wow, amazing.”
Meanwhile, @Anne-Marie Kietzman expressed unhappiness in the fact that the pieces of art cannot be preserved forever:
“Mr. Zungu, you are a great artist with an amazing eye for detail! Such a pity that your beautiful creations do not last forever!”
Briefly.co,za reported on another story of Rumani also known as The Cleaner who is quickly becoming the go-to guy for quick photoshop fixes - that is if he isn't taking it upon himself to "fix" snaps himself.
Rumani headed online and executed the perfect fix and it all began when @Liznku asked him to please remove a fly from her forehead that had parked himself there while she was busy with a selfie session.
Not only did the cleaner remove the fly, but he also shared a series of snaps of how the job was done - hilariously with a fly swatter.
