Mantfombi Dlamini, also known as the Queen of the Zulu Kingdom, has become very much talked-about over the last few weeks after the passing of her husband King Goodwill Zwelithini, who was buried last week.
After the King's passing, it was decided that Mantfombi would serve as the interim leader of the Zulu Kingdom up until the rightful king steps into position. It just so happens that her first-born son seems to be the chosen one for the position.
Growing up a Swazi princess, Mantfombi was betrothed to King Zwelithini. The two of them then married in 1977 and she became his great wife - meaning that her boy children would be considered first to take the throne.
3. Kid Perfectly Imitates Cassper Nyovest, Leaves Internet in a Frenzy
A beautiful young South African mother recently had a lot of local Twitter users in their feels after she shared an adorable clip of her son behaving absolutely adorable. In the clip, the little one perfectly imitates his idol, Cassper Nyovest.
The young mom with the Twitter handle @BonoloMaruping_ shared two clips, one of Nyovest dancing and another of her son copying his every move and even wearing a similar outfit. In the caption, she explains that her son just loves the local rapper.
"My son's obsession with @casspernyovest is so cute @kaboentlemaruping on IG #majaivane #casspernyovestchallenge #boity," she captioned the cute clip.
4. Rare Mercedes Found 40 Years After Tycoon Stashed It Before Getting Seized
A Mercedes Benz reportedly belonging to one Alhaji Agyaa, a rich Ghanaian man in the 70s and 80s, has been discovered after about 40 years of it being hidden in a garage. It is not certain what the vehicle would be worth today but it is certainly historically valid.
In a post on famous sports journalist, Saddick Adams' Twitter handle, it is indicated that the discovery was made at Techiman, the capital of Techiman Municipal and the Bono East Region of Ghana.
It is indicated that those who grew up in the area knew Alhaji Agyaa to be very rich and popular and the only millionaire who could have acquired this Mercedes in the area.
5. Nomzamo Mbatha Showers Trevor Noah with Praise During Interview
Trevor Noah recently sat down with Nomzamo Mbatha on The Daily Show to chat about her successful Coming 2 America debut. The pair discussed the movie and life in Hollywood.
As the interview wrapped up, Trevor showered Nomzamo with kind words, telling her that she was a lovely person who deserved all the accolades she was enjoying.
A thankful Nomzamo received the praise but also flipped the script on Trevor. Zamo took the opportunity to tell Noah that South Africa is extremely proud of him.
