Trevor Noah recently sat down with Nomzamo Mbatha on The Daily Show to chat about her successful Coming 2 America debut. The pair discussed the movie and life in Hollywood.
As the interview wrapped up, Trevor showered Nomzamo with kind words, telling her that she was a lovely person who deserved all the accolades she was enjoying.
A thankful Nomzamo received the praise but also flipped the script on Trevor. Zamo took the opportunity to tell Noah that South Africa is extremely proud of him.
Speaking in isiZulu, Zam said:
“Siyaziqenya ngawe. (We are proud of you.)"
Trevor responded in isiXhosa and said:
“Enkosi. (Thank you.)"

South African viewers loved the sweet exchange between both South African-born entertainers. They have both done well in their crafts and are truly flying the South African flag high. Twitter user thatojk said:

Nomzamo posted the article along with a caption that read:
