A joyful lobola ceremony took a comical turn when a young boy decided to speed up formalities and help his father identify his bride. In a video shared on 2 November 2026 by TikTok user @kopanooj, three women were seated on the floor completely concealed beneath thick blankets for the customary bride-guessing game.

Son spares dad from paying fines

Before the groom could deliberate or risk guessing wrong, the couple's little boy casually pointed directly at the correct blanket and told his dad that his mother was right there. Following his son's exact instructions, the groom walked over to the blanket pointed out by the boy and pulled it off, revealing his beaming bride to the loud cheers and applause of family members gathered in the room.
