When US rapper Saweetie called it quits with her celebrity boyfriend Quavo, people wondered what could have gone wrong.
Just days after their public exchange, a video of the two physically fighting in an elevator has emerged.
In a clip shared by TMZ, the pair was seen walking together then all of a sudden, an altercation ensued.
Saweetie landed a slap on Quavo which prompted him to grab her hand and throw her on the floor.
The Back to The Streets rapper then tried to get away with an orange bag in hand but her man was having none of that.
Quavo forced her back into the lift and grabbed the bag.
He then looked around and spotted a security camera.
For a few seconds, the member of Migos stared at Saweetie as she sat on the floor crying. The elevator doors opened once but neither of them got out.
At some point, Quavo stepped out and appeared to be coercing Saweetie to stand up and follow him. He even held the doors and waited for the beauty to get up.
An angry Saweetie got up and limped out of the elevator as she held her back.
Moments after US rappers Quavo and Saweetie called it quits; word had it that the latter had to give up a Bentley she received as a gift.
However, it was all false.
People on the internet who followed the breakup since Saweetie’s unexpected tweet claimed Quavo translated her message as “take Bentley” instead of “Take care.”
A chain of reactions ensued from the rumour, and a large section of internet users said that they too would get petty if their partners left them.
