"The pay is just not worth it."

Nokuthula expressed that overseas children's theatre pays way better than our own. The former Rhythm City actress further shared that she even co-directed a play but the director did not pay her all her money and did not credit her for her work.

Nokuthula added that she was taking home R742 per week at the Braam Theatre, which did not help her much.

"I’d pay my rent every week (R300) just in case I would go months without work."
