Grateful Young Lady Celebrates Getting Dream Job after Working as Cashier

A young lady identified as Benedith Lauré has taken to social media to narrate how she was devastated because she lost a dream job only to be hired as a cashier.

Sharing her story on LinkedIn, Benedith said she had been hired for a dream job on a film set but lost it because the production was cancelled due to the pandemic.

According to the young lady, she cried when she got the cashier job because she felt it was unfair for a talented lady to be doing such work.

In her words:

"But eventually, I started being grateful just to have A JOB and make ends meet during a global pandemic. I fell in love with the staff and the simplicity of my cashier job. I considered it a “vacation” from marketing and focused on what I could gain from the experience."

She said a few weeks after she got the cashier job, Grand Hustle called her back and gave her a contract to be the marketing director of T.I.’s podcast.

Benedith said:

"I took the job but actually KEPT my job at Kroger 3 months longer because I fell in love with the people so much. In fact, I only left Kroger cause I couldn't manage both."

She advised people to always have faith and be patient because an opportunity is coming their way soon, adding that success isn't a straight line.

LinkedIn users were inspired and they soon flooded the comment section of her post with their thoughts.

The 5-year-old girl has emerged as the star winner of the Miss Toddler USA America Nation 2021, Statepress reports.

Kleopatra scored high in the evening gown parade, which judges marked 25% elegance, she garnered 25% in the cultural parade and a whopping 50% in the community service aspect of the fast-rising American contest.
