Masasa Mbangeni got a heavy case of the feels on Tony Kgoroge’s birthday. Having met Tony in the industry, Masasa could not be more grateful to have been blessed with a lifelong friend.

Finding a friend who you know will be with you till the end, especially in the entertainment industry, is priceless. Masasa and Tony met in the arts and they have been dear friends for some time now.

Taking to social media on Tony’s birthday, Masasa shared just how grateful she is for their friendship in a long and heart-warming post.

“It’s @t4tonykgoroge birthday and it’s got me feeling a bit nostalgic. The arts gave me a big brother who’s just as passionate as me! Tony has never sought to change me but always encouraged that I get to know myself better.”

One of Masasa’s favourite memories is of the times where she and Tony used to groove before gigs.

“Tony is an amazing dancer & almost every night before we would perform 'Nongogo' ,he would get the SM to play music and we would kizomba till it was time to head back into the wings! So when Queenie opened the play exhausted, Masasa the actor was genuinely finished because Tony had me dancing.”

Masasa could not be more thankful for all Tony has taught her and for his unwavering friendship.
