People have different expectations when it comes to relationships. A young South African woman recently headed online to make her views on relationships and relationship dynamics very clear to her followers.
In the post that was made by @amukelani_02, she basically tells other women in relationships to stop expecting men to take care of them financially as this is not an obligation for men but rather something they should be given the option to do.
"Ladies, no man is responsible for taking care of you. If he does, great, if he doesn’t? He doesn’t. Let’s lose the entitlement. Take care of yourself," she wrote in the comment section.
Here's what locals had to say:

"Hay Olwethu indoda is not ebomini bakho to take care of wena akenzanga tyala ngokuthanda it's entitlement lento inenza nicinge nisenzela a favor and demand izinto unnecessarily...qhubekeka ngelahlobo ubusenza ngalo I'll meet you halfway mna it's relationship not anything else."

"I'm sorry but if I will still cook, clean, and do domestic work for the man (taking care of him) I expect him to take care of me too. I still strongly believe in the Patriarchal system as long as it's still not shunned completely from our society."

"If you do that, there's a high chance he's going to take care of you."
In other Briefly News reports, engagement and wedding rings seriously cost a lot of money, and this for a long time has been why men joked about holding off on popping the question. A young woman recently offered those men a solution in an interesting post made online.
In her post, @Mbali_porsh includes a snap of an R30 Mr Price ladies fashion ring that looks very closely like a wedding ring. In his caption, the young lady calls Mr Price "the plug" for inexpensive wedding and engagement rings.
"Gents here's a plug," she wrote.
