An American woman on a South African safari got more than she bargained. She broke into song near a zebra enclosure on 27 August 2026 and captured a magical moment.

Actress Loren Sharice posted a selfie-style TikTok video showing the moment she jokingly sang Circle of Life from The Lion King while standing near a fenced enclosure at what appeared to be a game reserve. To her own disbelief, a pregnant zebra nearby began moving towards her.
Not entirely convinced the first encounter was anything more than coincidence, she returned with her friends and sang again, this time performing The Lion Sleeps Tonight. The zebra responded once more, drawing laughter and screams from the group. The text on the follow-up video read:
