Engagement and wedding rings seriously cost a lot of money, and this for a long time has been why men joked about holding off on popping the question. A young woman recently offered those men a solution in an interesting post made online.
In her post, @Mbali_porsh includes a snap of an R30 Mr Price ladies fashion ring that looks very closely like a wedding ring. In his caption, the young lady calls Mr Price "the plug" for inexpensive wedding and engagement rings.
"Gents here's a plug," she wrote.
Many South African woman and gents had a lot to say about the post. Many of them shared their thoughts on expensive wedding rings. Read a few of their comments below:
"It's not about the price of the purchase of the thing, is the thought of the thing in the heart for the person, something like that."
"Awume tuu baba thina abantu bethu bane allergy"
"Most ladies place way too much focus on the monetary value of the ring than what it represents. Most ladies wouldn't be pleased to find out that their engagement ring cost less than a hundred bucks."
In other Briefly News, a clip of a woman rejecting a man's proposal has been shared online by a South African man who wanted to know whether or not her reaction to being popped the question was in any way at all justifiable.
In the clip that was shared by the man with the handle @tshabi222003, a man can be seen kneeling in what appears to be a mall while the woman he was proposing to stands above him and makes quite a scene while rejecting his proposal.
"Ladies is this necessary though?" Tshabi asked in the caption of the post.
