- Well-known Isibaya actor Andile Mxakaza’s video proposing to his woman has Mzansi in stitches on social media
- The beautiful woman, who looked surprised, is seen crying while Mxakaza waits to hear the ‘yes’ from his sweetheart
- Mzansi has shared contrasting reactions to the way actor, known for his role as Fezile on the soapie, approached his lady
Famously known for his role as Fezile in Isibaya, Andile Mxakaza is trending on social media for all the right reasons. Mxakaza’s video is going viral on Twitter as he is spotted proposing marriage to his lovely woman in a restaurant.
@LuthandoNgidi posted the video clip on his Twitter timeline and it has attracted massive reactions from his followers.
Many are amused by the video as it portrays a romantic story but some are enviously critical of the way the veteran actor’s approaches the proposal.
“Looks like what my man can do, he would literally do this.”
“Nihlulwa yini ukwenza kanje bobhuti? (What’s stopping you from doing this guys?)”
“Why women cry when they're engaged, is it fashion or just peer pressure nje?”
"There was actually a tweet a while back that said Zulu men just give you the ring and say 'Faka phela'.”
“This is how I’d do it.”
“He gave her that ring like he was passing the salt/pepper. Indoda yomZulu!”
Briefly News previously reported that proposals are often mushy and romantic but this guy decided to be different - getting straight to the point. In a clip that was uploaded to Twitter, the man can be seen putting the ring box into his woman's hand.
Surrounded by family and friends, @Mhayise decided that the best way to propose to his lady was to tell her exactly what's on his mind, forgoing the bending of knees and the usual flowers that men usually opt for when proposing.
Of course, locals were soon in the comment section sharing their thoughts on the unique proposal but not before liking the post over one thousand times.
