African football family has been thrown into mourning following the untimely death of Zimbabwe legend, Butler Masango.
Coach Butler as he was fondly referred to was based in South Africa as the technical director and Soccer Scout at Talent Focus Elite Coaching in Johannesburg.
Although details of his mysterious death are not known at the time of this report, tributes have started to pour in for the late footballer.
For over 15 years, Masango was involved in developing young soccer players while he commits his spare time to mentoring children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
But earlier this year, coach Butler was reported to have been diagnosed with heart failure - an issue that has taken a toll on his revenue generation according to hot919.co.za.
The publication reports that was already feeling better when he contracted coronavirus and he probably battled the illness until his death.
Zororo Phumulani Funeral Plan (@zororophumulani) while paying tributes to the late legend on Twitter said:
"It is a dark day as our thoughts and prayers go to the Masango family upon learning of the passing on of South African based former Warriors striker and CAPS United midfielder the legendary Butler Masango popularly known as “Coach Butler."
