Popular rapper and podcaster L-Ltido is reportedly being sued for R1million by another podcaster for defamatory statements.

The rapper previously had social media buzzing when he announced that he had signed a deal with DSTV.

L-Tido also recently thanked his fans for supporting him after sharing that his show will be featured on DSTV.

Daily Sun reported on Thursday, 2 April 2026, that L-Tido and his co-hosts, Bruce Chinyanga, Elizabeth Robinson, Sive Barnes, and Sthembi Fargo, on the New Gen Podcast, are facing a R1million lawsuit by Open Chats podcaster, Lesedi "Naqueeda" Dayel.

The publication adds that Naqueeda's lawyers confirmed that their client filed court papers in the Johannesburg High Court in February 2026.

New Gen Podcast is reportedly being sued for an episode posted on 26 February 2026, titled Elizabeth and Shai.

The publication adds that L-Tido was not aware of the lawsuit by Naqueeda when he was contacted for a comment.

"I can't even say anything because I am not aware of it," said L-Tido.

Social media user @OeneileMoaludi previously shared his interview with rapper Cassper Nyovest on his X account.

Social media user @realsihlev shared on his X account that Naqueeda is suing the Gen Podcast for R1million.

"Naqueeda sues New Gen Podcast for R1million. That girl is delusional. Where is L-Tido supposed to get R1million from?" asked the social media user.
