DJ and media personality Lamiez Holworthy has been hospitalised for a surgical procedure, her management company revealed on Sunday, 9 August 2026. Brand Arc Team broke the news in an official statement, confirming that while the procedure is serious enough to require her immediate attention, her condition is not life-threatening.

The surgery means Holworthy will be unable to honour her scheduled appearances on 9 and 10 August 2026. In their statement, the management team extended an apology to those affected

"We sincerely apologise to event promoters, organisers, clients and partners for any inconvenience caused."

They also confirmed that all affected bookings would be rescheduled once she has made a full recovery. Her team further appealed to the public to keep Holworthy in their prayers and to respect her privacy as she focuses on healing.

Supporters recalled the Metro FM star admitting she felt drained and unwell, though she pressed on despite her health struggles.
