Moja Love television presenter Molemo "Jub Jub" Maarohanye made a brief court appearance on Monday, 7 September 2026, where his R5 000 bail was extended and a warrant of arrest that had been hanging over him was officially cancelled. Fans were then left scrambling when, on that very same day, he posted a photo on Instagram cradling a newborn baby.
What are the charges against Jub Jub?
The case before the Germiston Magistrate's Court stems from an incident in June in Edenvale, where Maarohanye allegedly confronted an e-hailing driver and either pointed an object at him or discharged a firearm in his direction. He currently faces two counts: discharging a firearm in a public place and pointing an object likely to make a person believe it was a firearm. The case was postponed to 17 September 2026.
