Actor and television presenter Lawrence Maleka will take the stage as co-host alongside former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss. On the red carpet, media personalities Kuhle Adams and Katleho Sinivasan will welcome guests before the main event gets underway.

The evening promises a rich cultural experience, with performances lined up from the Ndlovu Youth Choir, amapiano star Young Stunna and the Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra. Organisers describe the show as a celebration weaving African heritage, contemporary fashion, music and storytelling into one night.

This year's theme, From Imbokodo to Diamond, draws on the resilience and leadership of South African women, signalling that the pageant is looking for more than a pretty face.

The mandate and the mission beyond the crown

The judging reveal also shines a light on The Mandate, a seven-part documentary series that has been following 19 young women through challenges centred on leadership, entrepreneurship and personal development. The series frames the competition as a journey with purpose, exploring how each contestant can use her platform to contribute to society rather than just compete for a title.

Organisers stress that all 12 finalists have the capacity to champion meaningful causes, regardless of who ultimately takes the crown. Through its Empower Youth Africa initiative, Miss South Africa is positioning itself as a pipeline for the next generation of African women leaders, with the judges specifically tasked with identifying a titleholder who reflects those values.

Lawrence Maleka will co-host the Miss SA finale

Lawrence Maleka will join veteran broadcaster Jo-Ann Strauss on stage for the Miss South Africa 2026 finale.

The highly anticipated event is set to take place on 14 November 2026.
