MaKhumalo's secret is out

A teaser released by Mzansi Magic reveals that the next episode will turn its attention to how the truth was spread in the first place - and fingers are pointing directly at MaKhumalo. She overheard her daughter-in-law, Khethiwe, breaking down to her husband after learning about the paternity secret. Rather than keeping quiet, MaKhumalo went straight to MaMbokazi, who then passed the information along to her husband.

Now, in front of the family, MaMbokazi finally exposed her as the original source, seemingly thanking her for revealing the truth.

"If MaKhumalo didn't say anything, we wouldn't have known."

With an already tense relationship with her daughter-in-law, this leak is bound to destroy whatever trust was left between them, pushing their fragile bond to breaking point.

Musa overplays his hand

Elsewhere in the Mkhize household, the truth about Zwelakhe has gone to Musa's head. Emboldened by his uncle's influence and the knowledge that his brother is not a biological Mkhize, Musa has started asserting himself as the man of the house. He instructed Granny to keep his bedroom immaculate and even demanded she stop calling him "Mfanayam" - replacing it with the title "Khabazela." The power trip, however, comes at a cost, as a family elder delivers a sharp slap across the dinner table.

Tensions reach another peak as Zwelakhe squares up to his uncle Gcwabe, questioning his motives with a pointed challenge: "Are you seriously going to fight for another man's legacy?" Gcwabe, for his part, is later seen at Khethokwakhe's grave, seeking guidance to "break this calabash" before visibly losing his composure.

MaMbokazi holds the final card

Viewers on social media are growing restless, eagerly waiting for the family matriarch MaMbokazi to finally reveal who Zwelakhe's biological father is. She has managed to guard the secret tightly across multiple episodes, and a recent scene at her late husband's grave suggested the answer has long been within reach. Speaking over his tombstone, a tearful MaMbokazi revealed that she and Khethokwakhe had planned to tell Zwelakhe the truth together, but his death cut those plans short.

With the family now pulling away from her and Zwelakhe among those distancing himself, how long MaMbokazi can hold out remains the biggest question hanging over KwaBaba.
