Talented actor Athi Cwele, who portrayed the character of Kamohelo "Kamo" Moroka, has left SABC 1's Generations: The Legacy.
The actor previously trended on social media when his popular character was killed in August 2026.
Cwele also recently had social media buzzing when he commented on his character, who has been trending on TikTok regarding his acting skills and his language.
The SABC1 soapie said goodbye to Cwele with a video on its Instagram account on 4 October 2026.

Connie Ferguson Returns to Generations: The Legacy as Karabo Moroka
In more entertainment news, Briefly News previously reported that actress and producer Connie Ferguson confirmed her return to Generations as the iconic Karabo Moroka during an SABC News interview on 18 September 2026.
The award-winning thespian revealed her comeback will be a very short visit, describing herself as the glue for the Moroka family arc.
Ferguson reflected on the show's history, noting she first started filming Generations back in 1993 before it broadcast in 1994 on SABC1 .
