The woman, who goes by @tsheg0_atso on TikTok, claimed she pitched a sequel concept for Perry's popular film Why Did I Get Married, and believes he may have used it.

In the message, dated 29 October 2022, Tshegofatso wrote directly to Perry. She described her idea as a continuation of the original story, where the older couples from the first film go on another holiday and meet a group of newlyweds along the way. She ended the message with her name, email address, and a note that she was writing from South Africa.
