The Springboks gave those students every reason to celebrate. South Africa beat New Zealand 43–28 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, sealing a 3–1 series victory in Rugby's Greatest Rivalry. The Boks trailed 14–17 at half-time before a second-half surge saw tries from Malcolm Marx, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Cameron Hanekom put the game away.
