A creator known as Thabo Ncube has sent the internet into a frenzy with a reaction clip responding to the now-viral Bafana Bafana player lookalike video that has been doing the rounds on social media.

The Instagram reel, posted on 8 October 2026, is a split-screen commentary filmed in a casual garden setting. Two small inset video-call frames sit in the upper corners of the screen while the creator reacts in a larger frame in the foreground, dressed in a red polo shirt. On-screen captions including "Hm? Copy and paste" and "Dad you playing field. Birdie" drive home the joke — that whoever this lookalike is, he may well have some explaining to do about his family history.
