A South African TikToker did something quietly extraordinary on the night of 29 October. Instead of scrolling past a familiar face sleeping rough under a bridge, he stopped, booked the man a hotel room, and shared the whole moment online.

@bendelport set out with a simple mission: to book a homeless person a hotel for the night. Filming with a handheld camera, he drove through city streets until he spotted a man he had seen sleeping in the same spot many times before. That man was Osman, 48 years old and single, who told Ben he slept under that bridge every night.

Ben walked Osman to a nearby hotel, checked him in, and handed over four burgers for the night. Once inside the room, the two stood at the window together. From up high, they could see the very spot under the bridge where Osman normally spent his nights. "Now you have this view for the night," Ben told him.

Before leaving, Ben wished Osman well and reminded him that checkout was at 11:00 the following morning. The parting was warm and simple. "God bless you, sir. Have a nice night. I hope you enjoy it and I hope it means something to you," Ben said as he headed out. Watch Ben's act of kindness unfold on TikTok:
