KWAZULU-NATAL — A woman's body has been found in Copesville, in the Maritzburg Central area of KwaZulu-Natal, with disturbing signs of violence raising fresh concern across the country.

The discovery was brought to public attention by Tumi Sole, who shared details of the incident on his X account. According to reports, the body was found by residents collecting waste in the area. The woman was naked, with her hands tied behind her back, and her body bore visible injuries. The identity of the deceased and the full circumstances of her death remain unknown at this stage.

Copesville has previously been linked to reports of bodies allegedly being dumped at the location, adding further unease to an area already under scrutiny.

Woman killed by boyfriend in Limpopo
