Officers are conducting a broader investigation that includes the alleged attempted murder and assault of additional foreign nationals, though it remains unclear whether these incidents are connected to the murder or form part of a separate chain of events.
Details about the five people taken in remain scarce. Police have not confirmed whether formal charges have been laid against any of them, nor whether they have appeared before a court. The identities of both the deceased and those detained have not been made public, and the motive behind the killing has not been disclosed.
Authorities are working to determine what role, if any, each of the five played in the incidents under investigation. It also remains unclear whether further arrests are anticipated as the case develops.
