OKLAHOMA — A South African national living in the United States on a work visa has been arrested in Oklahoma after authorities linked him to the alleged distribution of child sexual abuse material online.

The Grady County Sheriff's Office initiated the investigation after receiving a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children earlier this month. The tip flagged the uploading of explicit material involving children in Grady County, prompting deputies to trace the activity to a computer in the Dibble area.

He was subsequently arrested and now faces eight counts of violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act, as well as one count of possessing child sexual abuse material — bringing the total number of charges against him to nine.

Charges have not been proven in court

The allegations against Dutoit remain unproven, and the matter is expected to proceed through the Oklahoma court system. The case was initiated entirely by the cybertip mechanism, which allows technology companies and members of the public to report suspected child sexual exploitation directly to authorities.
