What happened to North West farmer Donovan Marx?

The attack took place at the family's farm in Syferfontein, near Ventersdorp, at approximately 8:30am on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. North West police spokesperson Captain Majang Skalkie said a farmworker was mowing the lawn when three armed men wearing balaclavas emerged from behind the house.

They then tied his hands and feet with cable ties before taking him to the back of the house.
