The Springboks have made two notable changes to their starting XV for the second Castle Double Malt Rugby's Greatest Rivalry Series Test against the All Blacks at DHL Stadium on Saturday, 29 August 2026, with kickoff scheduled for 17h10.
Cheslin Kolbe returns to the wing after recovering from the knock that forced him off the field during last week's Test in Johannesburg. He takes the place of Kurt-Lee Arendse, who drops out of the matchday squad entirely.
Pollard ruled out after Friday assessment
The more significant change comes at flyhalf. Handré Pollard sustained a niggle during Wednesday's training session and, following a medical assessment on Friday morning, was ruled out of the fixture.
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, who has started Tests against Argentina and New Zealand already this season, steps into the No. 10 jersey. Manie Libbok, who has 31 caps and 147 points to his name, will provide cover from the bench alongside scrumhalf Morne van den Berg.

Captain Siya Kolisi leads the side from No. 6, having already been cleared to play earlier this week. Eben Etzebeth continues at lock, bringing 143 caps of experience to the set piece, while Malcolm Marx starts at hooker. The back three sees Damian Willemse at fullback, Kolbe on the right wing and Ethan Hooker on the left.
