"I Am Straight": Mr Smeg Apologises to LGBTQI+ Community for Claiming He Was Bisexual

Mr Smeg was trending over the weekend after he apologised to the LGBTQI+ community for claiming that he was bisexual when he is fact heterosexual.
Earlier Mr Smeg had claimed that he was bisexual in a post on Twitter:
"Bonjour Everyone, My name is Lasmeg and I am bisexual."
He tweeted his apology which ignited a debate online over his previous claims and how dangerous they were.
"To everyone I have hurt in any type of way: I am truly sorry for hurting you.
I made an error by announcing that I am bisexual. I would like to apologize to the LGBTQI+ community. I am truly sorry.
Just to make things clear, I am Straight."
Social media users took to the internet to react to his apology. Some were angry with him while others defended him.

Mr Smeg shared the news via a very matter-of-fact Twitter post:
"Bonjour Everyone, My name is Lasmeg and I am bisexual."
