The 20-year-old, who now represents Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, crossed paths with the young Buccaneers during their European adventure, with the club's reserve team sharing photos of the reunion on social media. One image captured Mofokeng, who claimed the 2025/26 PSL Players' Player of the Season award, sharing a laugh with young attacker Mpho Padime.

Padime was among the brightest performers across the four-match tour, scoring three goals as coach Roscoe Krieling's side tested themselves against Dutch and international opposition. The Diski Challenge champions faced Vitesse Arnhem, De Graafschap and Sparta Rotterdam, as well as Japan's Yamanashi Gakuin High School, recording two wins, a draw and a defeat over the course of the campaign.
