With a retail price of $28 million, the luxurious vehicle has been pegged to be the world’s most expensive car as at the time this report was written.
In this report, Briefly News will be presenting five things that make this vehicle so special and why it has the media attention.
1. It has a hosting suite
This car could as well serve as a resort centre. Forbes reports that in a manner inspired by Santiago Calatravia, the deck opens in a butterfly shape to reveal a champagne chest with the press of remote control. The sides of the deck also has picnic stools.
2. Not a means to a destination but the destination
Alex Innes, the head of Rolls-Royce Coachbuild design, said that the Tail Boat is not just a simple means to get to a place but it is the place the owner should look forward to.

3. 563 horsepower
Like the popular Rolls-Rolls Phantom, The National News reports that the world’s most expensive car has a twin-turbo V12 engine with 6.75-litre while packing an enormous horsepower of 563.
4. It took 4 years to build
Muller-Otvos, the chief executive of Rolls-Royce, revealed that the vehicle came into life from the four-year collaboration with three of their most special clients.
He said:
“Rolls-Royce Coachbuild clients are intimately and personally involved at each step of the creative and engineering process.
"We work in harmony with the client to gain complete fluency in the nuances of their character and personality.”
5. The clients influenced the nautical theme of the car
According to Forbes, three clients approached the company after the carmaker released the Sweptail edition. They wanted a car that would have a boat design like that of J-Class yachts. The clients also agreed that while the cars would reflect their peculiar personalities, they would have the same body structure.
