Africans and a countless number of people in many parts of the world are still mourning the shocking death of the popular Pastor Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, who died in Lagos. The news of the death of the Man of God came as a great shock for many people, considering how he preached to church members just hours before his demise.
During his lifetime, Joshua was known as a man who helped millions of people spiritually, physically, morally and financially. The prophet was such a humble man who lived a non-flamboyant life despite having been one of the richest pastors in the whole world.
Today in our report, we take a look at some of the Nigerian footballers who have visited Joshua in his Synagogue Church of all Nations in Lagos. Some of these footballers visited him for private discussions while others went to him for solutions to their problems.
A number of stars have visited the prophet
1. Sani Emmanuel
Before his move to Lazio, Emmanuel was an altar boy in Prophet TB Joshua’s church and was single-handedly sent on trial in Italy by the man of God.
Although Emmanuel is presently without a club, he attributes his success in football to TB Joshua.
2. Ogenyi Onazi
Years back, Super Eagles star Ogenyi Onazi named Prophet TB Joshua as the man behind the success of his football career.
The former Lazio midfielder has played 52 games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria and has scored only one goal so far.
3. Daniel Amokachi
During his active playing time, former Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi was said to have gone to the Synagogue church when he had knee problems and thanked the Man of God later.
4. Nwankwo Kanu
Former Arsenal and Super Eagles striker Kanu Nwankwo was also said to have visited Prophet TB Joshua when he had heart problems years back.

Joshua's influence
Earlier, Briefly News ran a story on a video that was making the rounds showing how God healed a woman of a mal-united tibia at the headquarters of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), Lagos.
The woman, who claimed to have been a manager for an edition of the FIFA U17 World Cup, narrated how she fractured her leg in an accident.
According to her, she ran to the church all the way from Abuja seeking healing after doctors told her she would need a total replacement at an Indian hospital.
