TV personality and radio host Lerato Kganyago revealed her recent heartbreak to her Twitter followers.

Lerato had been secretly dating someone for four years and suffered a heartbreak when the guy broke it off a few months ago.

The bubbly beauty felt she had finally healed enough to share her experience with her fans in a series of introspective tweets.

She started off by posting, "Getting over someone you thought you would never get over, has to be the most fulfilling feeling ever!"

Lerato said she was grateful she could mourn her relationship in private as she and her former partner never went public with their love affair to begin with.

The sometime club DJ said it was extremely hard to put on a brave face at work during the worst days of her emotional turmoil.

She said it was painful to realise her ex wasn't too concerned about how devastated she was at the break-up.

The Project Runway presenter said she was finally over the entire situation and happy again.

Lerato advised her followers to never hold onto a relationship when it's clear the love is gone.
