Nomzamo Mbatha’s foundation helps 60 deserving children get an education

- Nomzamo's organisation, the Lighthouse Foundation, has raised R1 million to help children stay in school

- Hollywood Bets stepped up to the plate and donated a whopping R50k on top of the R54k that had already been raised

Nomzamo Mbatha’s heart is so full! She had the honour of helping students stay in school by giving them bursaries through her Lighthouse Foundation.

Having won awards, stolen shows and brightened lives, Nomzamo has gained a lot of experience and learnt a lot of lessons in her 29-years on this Earth.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Hollywood Bets got on board and donated a whopping R50 000 to her foundation at the last minute. R54 000 has also been pledged, making the total over R1 million.

Helping children get an education is something Nomzamo has dedicated her time to. The stunning celeb believes that every child has the right to be educated and that it is our duty as humans to help make that possible.

Taking to social media with a heart filled with pride, blessings and gratitude, Nomzamo revealed the incredible news of Hollywood Bets' generous donation.

Nomzamo went on to explain how hard it was to choose worthy participants and how her team had done the most to make sure the most deserving were chosen. While over 40 000 students applied for the bursaries, the foundation was only able to help 60.

Helping 60 children get an education is an amazing achievement and something Nomzamo and her team should be extremely proud of.
