A Free State woman became an overnight hero on South African social media. She turned the Free State provincial Premier away from her door during an ANC campaign visit.

Candid footage captured the encounter on 29 August 2026. It showed the woman seated in a plastic chair outside her home in what appeared to be a township or informal settlement.

When the Premier approached and asked how she could help, she did not mince her words. She loudly asked the delegation to leave, saying:

"I want nothing from the ANC."
