Just because you live in a rural area doesn't mean the house is going to be small and deteriorating. Many South Africans are opting to build stunning homes in villages instead of paying for overpriced houses in the suburbs.
On Sunday, one man wanted to show Mzansi how it is done. He posted snaps of the home he is building in a Limpopo village.
Briefly.co.za reported the man, who was only identified as @monsieurponto, captioned the post:
"This how we do it in Limpopo. Build decent homes in the village."
His post has continued to circulate on social media and now more home owners decided to share photos of their village mansions.
Twitter user, @kunta_j, posted snaps of his home and captioned it:
"Here is mine in the dusty village of Eisleben, Botlokwa Ga-Ramokgopa. Give black Africans the land and we don’t need anyone’s charity."
Another man, @MampshikoMogale, also shared pics:
Social media user, @bonginkosijnr, shared a photo of a stunning house in Mpumalanga but added it is not his house.
He wrote: "It's not my house just stole this pic somewhere, I wish to know the owner too but I always notice the house."
Moses Makhomisani shared a pic of another house that is still under construction:

Meanwhile, in other news, Briefly.co.za earlier reported a woman, Thembisa Makalwazi Ndlovu, is one proud shack owner. And after catching a glimpse of the place - we all understand why.
Her beautiful shack is certainly one of a kind, which is probably why she took to her Facebook to share pictures of the place. Unlike many other shacks, hers features a bathroom, sunk-in lounge, kitchen and a few bedrooms.
The entire place is neatly tiled and painted and features an array of beautiful furniture, showing just how skilled she is at making a house a home.
