Pearl Modiadie has clapped back at online commenters who accused her of being a show off after she posted about a milestone she recently reached.
The radio host turned 33 this week and posted about how she was proud to share that she had managed to pay off the house she purchased for her father.
Many commenters replied to Pearl with messages of congratulations but there were also critics who posted that she was bragging about her achievement.

Pearl responded to the criticisms by writing that she works hard for what she has and that she will continue celebrating her wins. She wrote on her Twitter account:
"Ngisebenza kanzima and I will always celebrate my wins!! Whether privately or publicly!"
Pearl's clapback sparked off a larger debate about what constitutes bragging on social media since its very nature is about sharing information with others.

Pearl Modiadie celebrated her 33rd birthday and she marked it with another major life event as she announced that she has officially paid off her father's house. The star posted in a now-deleted tweet that she was proud to be celebrating her birthday and the wonderful moment that she officially paid off the house.
Pearl originally purchased the house in 2017 and it holds specific significance as she bought it as a surprise gift to then make into her father's home.
Pearl also had another thing to celebrate as it was also her first birthday as a momma.
The radio personality welcomed little Olivier Lewatle earlier this year and has been vocal about how much she adores being a mom. Fans took to the comments to congratulate Pearl on her milestones and wish her a very happy birthday.
