A child with the handle @Sikaofficial1 has taken to Twitter to advertise his mum's roasted plantain business without shame. In a tweet on Monday, January 18, the young man called for wide patronage as he shared photos showing his mum sitting beside her wares.

As it is customary with such a business, the woman combines her main product with groundnuts. What, however, amazed tweeps was that she was also putting on her face mask.

The son also shared a short video showing the deliciously-looking plantain as they are being roasted on the braai.
