DJ Sbu and Alikiba's track Nakupenda has managed to amass over 3 million views on YouTube.

The artists have both been promoting the track since its release and it has proven to be a hit with music fans across their individual countries and listeners all over the world.

The success has clearly also transferred to the music video of the song, which just passed the 3 million mark on the video-streaming platform.

DJ Sbu posted to social media to commemorate the milestone and posted a video clip celebrating it. The DJ wrote:

"3 MILLION VIEWS! MUNGU AKUBARIKI @KINGSMUSICTZ + @HOMEGROWNM_SA WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU IN MAKING HISTORY WITH US. GLOBAL SMASH HIT #NAKUPENDA VIDEO"

Part of the caption that the South African artist wrote expressed his gratitude to all those who had helped the song become successful and watched the music video.
