Ami Faku is still alive and well. However, Facebookers started a rumour that she had passed away, causing a stir on social media. Ami took to social media to rubbish the claims, obviously showing that she's still very much alive.
Ami said that people are bitter for saying that she's dead. Coincidently, Ami has just released a song with Emtee titled Lala Ngoxolo, which means "rest in peace".
Other social media users made light of the situation and called for Mzansi artist Rasta to put down his paintbrushes because Ami is still alive.
Ami was very confused with the rumours and tweeted "What the f***" as a response to people who were saying that she's dead.
Mzansi social media users took the time to make jokes about Ami's "death" and tweeted a few jokes to cleanse the timeline:
@siyamtitishana commented:
"Rasta was already looking for his crayons ready to draw Ami Faku."

"When Ami Faku releases a single, she gets 10 likes and 14 retweets. But as for fake news..."

"Girl, how are you tweeting when you're dead?"

"Not Facebook killing Ami Faku."
@DosJola commented:
"Nah don’t stress, it just means you’ll live even longer! More music for the soul for us! Please finish that album we are patiently waiting for?"
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Ami Faku spoke about trying times before her single with Emtee dropped. Ami Faku is a soulful singer who brought a new meaning to Afro R&B.
Now, she's getting ready to release her highly anticipated single featuring Emtee titled Lala Ngoxolo. The song's name means "rest in peace." After the painful year the nation has had due to the pandemic, it will hopefully lift some people up.
The song is based on remembering the people that the nation has lost and it has touching lyrics that speak of losing a loved one.
