An old video of Somizi speaking out about the issues in his relationship is doing the rounds on social media.

In the footage, Somizi was chatting to his followers on Instagram Live about the problems creeping up in his marriage. He explained that Mohale was always on his phone and he didn’t like it.

Somizi shared that his husband would completely ignore him and focus on his phone. The Idols SA judge said that the behaviour was disrespectful and hurtful.

He even went on to say that he would give Mohale an ultimatum- the phone or their marriage.

“The thing SomG is addressing here I have addressed and honestly nothing has changed thus far, instead is worse now she's glued on her phone and when you talk about it she will be like, you are also doing the same thing.”

“I like Somizi's reasoning, deep down Mohale knows Som-Glam's worth and value but he's just blinded by tangible objects. Try therapy perhaps, this applies to friendships and families as well. We are so anti-social these days, damn.”

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Somizi Mhlongo has had to once again pour water over the rumours that his marriage with Mohale is on the rocks. The media personality recently spoke to True Love magazine about the difficulties their marriage had to endure after being constantly scrutinised by the public.

Somizi made it clear that he and Mohale have never split up. He acknowledged that they had problems, just as all marriages do. When these problems come up, the couple do take some space away from each other in their many other properties.

Somizi recently snapped when a female journalist asked for his comment regarding the state of his marriage to Mohale. Briefly.co.za reported that rumours are flying that Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung's celebrity marriage is on the rocks and people have been speculating this for some time.

Somizi shared a message he received from a person claiming to be a journalist for City Press, claiming she had it on good authority that Somizi and Mohale were getting a divorce. She asked Somizi if this was true. She also wanted to know if this was the reason that Mohale was not invited to his birthday a few weeks back.

She had one more question that was visible in the screenshot that Somizi shared, she wanted to know if infidelity was the reason for the couple's alleged relationship troubles. Somizi had a short a sharp reply to the message, he dared her to write the story and he promised to sue the journalist and the publication, telling them to get their facts straight.
