Lasizwe's very public mgowo has some social media users suspecting that it was all staged for the cameras. The suspicions grew after Lasizwe's former boyfriend took to social media to mock the YouTube sensation.
In a now-viral Instagram Live video, the boyfriend and another man were lying in bed and laughing at Lasizwe's situation.
Although some continued to sympathise with Lasizwe, others began to feel a little suspicious about the whole thing. Twitter user Jesus_My_Cousin said:
"So they faked all this for fame? Clout is a drug. A big toxic drug"
masentle_mo said:
"So this guy planned with his boyfriend to play Lasizwe?"
pinkdoll_love said:
"They all friends ...hay banyanisile sithanda ndaba zabantu okwethu. Next time I'll never take Lasizwe serious yuuh"

"Boyfriend laughing at the mockery, makes me feel sad for Lasizwe. They really played him and for what"
Briefly.co.za had previously reported that Lasizwe Dambuza was very open about finding love but he was just as open when things took a left turn. The social media star has now opened up about why he decided to share so many details about what was happening in his love life.
“My name is Lasizwe and I got nyised by mjolo," he said.
Social media users around South Africa were very supportive of Lasizwe during this hard time. The reality television star is still very sour about what happened with his lover.
"I HATE SULKING! I would rather have us all laugh together at the situation I am than to rather keep quiet and be miserable! Life has to go on," said Lasizwe.
Lasizwe made it clear that the reason why he was being so open is that he wants people to know that bad things happen but you can always pick yourself up afterward.
"The reason why I am so transparent with how I feel is to show you even the people you look up to go through sh**”," he said.
Lasizwe was talking about the incident where he dropped his boyfriend off at the airport and then ran into him at groove a few hours later, ouch.
