Cassper Nyovest took to social media recently to share his thoughts on the future of the country.
The Amademoni hitmaker believes that young people have the solutions to take the country forward and to solve some of the problems the country faces but have no power to implement them.
The opinionated rapper took to Twitter on Wednesday, 24 February and expressed that Mzansi's old politicians are holding on to power but lack ideas for the future. The star said:
"The young minds have the solutions for the future but no power to implement any of the ideas. The old people have all the power but no solutions for the future."
Tweeps took to Mufasa's comment section to share their thoughts on his post. Some people agreed with him while others told him to also fund the youth.
@JayT_Mbango wrote:
"No disrespect but the old people get their power from money being funded to them to keep the power. Y'all should start funding the young to implement the ideas for the future."
@BaneleN_SA asked:
"Quick honest question: If a young mind came to you with a good enough solution, would you invest in it?"
@MetallicM commented:
"Leaders also need to interact and engage with people who can offer solutions, their problem is they want to have all the answers. Imagine if they outsourced solutions from different backgrounds either than their political circle."
@MargisonMosh said:
"This goes down as the best thing you ever said in your career!!! Facts."
@Tebby1017 added:
"You talk as if they cannot obtain power, you were just having tea with those people whom you refer to when you say have no solutions for the future. Have tea with young leaders and come up with solutions instead of just pondering with problems."
In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that it seems Juju’s tea with former President Jacob Zuma has opened up the floodgates for people to visit the elderly man.
A photo of Cassper shaking hands with Jacob Zuma is doing the rounds on social media and it is apparently from a recent meeting held on Monday, 15 February, according to the author of the post. Twitter user Africansoil shared the picture online along with the caption:
“The eNkandla National Keypoint is busy these days...we like it. Check this greeting!”
The picture caused a massive reaction from social media users who did not expect the development. Twitter user Ancient2928 said:
"Cassper will make a song about Mr Zuma soon. Perhaps he was asking for blessings."
