At only four years old, Mehran Dildar has already made a name for herself through her fondness for President Cyril Ramaphosa and for being informative.
Mehran Dildar's wish is to meet her favourite person in the world, the president. While waiting for her dream of meeting her hero to come true, she currently expresses her fondness by sticking Ramaphosa’s pictures on her cupboard in her room and she often record videos of herself pretending to be the president.
Even on her birthday cake she had the president’s picture. Mehran is already well known for her inspirational videos since she was three years old. At her age, she has already won hundreds of hearts through her confidence and courage to express herself. She's informative and is up-to-date with current affairs.
Her mother, Fatima said:
"Mehran couldn't speak clearly and had to go for therapy sessions, which brought the most in her.”
She then started ‘stealing’ her mother's phone and made videos pretending to be Ramaphosa. This ambitious little one could not be separated from her tea, watching the news and from getting as much information on her role model. She often sits quietly and listen when Ramaphosa is speaking. Her mom said:
“She googled Ramaphosa's birthday and even tried to get his address on Google map. She asked me to email Google to ask the president to attend her birthday. She never go to sleep without her favourite tea and she makes me read all the messages sent to her and smiles as I read.
“As a teacher and a mother of five, I always encourage parents to take time and invest in their children. There are days where I'm falling over myself as I am so tired and have so much to see but I ensure I give my children time to listen and teach them. My days mostly start at 4:30am and end at 11:30pm but the reward is seeing your children happy and taking a step further each day,” added Fatima.
The wise youngster is a beam of hope for Mzansi's future as she said she will be the first female president in SA and is inspired by Ramaphosa. Her mother is also in search of a scholarship or bursary for her dynamic angel’s dream to come true.
Previously, Briefly.co.za reported a little girl wrote Ramaphosa a very sweet and sad letter. A picture of the letter was shared on Twitter by @BlessingsRamoba, who urged his fellow South Africans to help share the tweet until it reached Ramaphosa.
In her letter, she explains to the president who she is and where she comes from - a small village called Mariveni in Limpopo.
She then goes on to ask him if he could please help the people in her village get running water.
