Man who builds drones shares success story in viral video

- Roqeeb said he was frustrated after he tried many times to no avail to make his gadget fly but he did not give up

A talented young Nigerian man, Aderogba Roqeeb, has spoken about how he fell in love with aeronautics through a South African pilot he met on Facebook.

The Nigerian man who now builds drones said that the plane photos the lady always posted on the social media platform inspired him greatly.

In a BBC News Yoruba interview, he disclosed that whenever people come to him, especially students like him, and ask how to make drones, he always advises them to make 70% local materials.

The Nigerian man stated that he is happy that he never gave up despite the many failures, adding anyone would have stopped trying after several futile attempts.

Roqeeb added that what really makes him sad is that if he had all the things he needed earlier, his production would have been more advanced now.

The young Nigerian man advised the government to support creatives like him in public schools who are willing to build things but lack funds.

The innovative young man asked people never to give up, saying they would one day meet people who are going to fund their dreams.
