Babes Wodumo's sister, Nondumiso Simelane, has opened up about the overwhelming financial pressure of raising her children, saying the men she believes should share that responsibility are not stepping up.
Nondumiso, who also doubles as Babes Wodumo's manager, took to social media to air her frustration, questioning why so little support was coming from the fathers of her children.
"I still ask myself what makes them not maintain [their children]. Not even one of them is trying; the weight is too heavy for me," she wrote.
Nondumiso Simelane details the financial burden
In her post, Nondumiso listed the everyday costs she has been shouldering alone, including school fees, clothing, lunch money and school trips. Nondumiso, who previously criticised Mampintsha's family, directly named Sbahle Fortune Ngcobo, Sboniso Perez, Bafana Mavundla and Nhlanhla Mabhodisa Mthembu as people who should be contributing.

The mother made it clear she did not feel this should be her burden alone to carry.
"I wasn't alone when making them, for goodness' sake," she said.
She went on to describe just how badly the situation had taken its toll, using a striking phrase to illustrate her financial state:
"I'm financially in a wheelchair, okudlula la [it's worse than] ICU."
She added that the strain extended far beyond money, saying she was "mentally, emotionally, physically & financially drained."
Mzansi reacts to Nondumiso's struggles
After MDNNews shared Nondumiso's comments on X, social media users responded with a mix of sympathy, scepticism and blunt opinions. Several zeroed in on the number of fathers involved, while others questioned whether all the men named were in fact the fathers of her children.
