Mzansi actress Larona Moagi has left her role as Tumi on The River and has moved on to other things. The actress faced a lot of criticism for her first acting gig and a lot of people were not happy with her acting.
Taking to Instagram, Larona shared that she's bagged a campaign with Jameson Whiskey. Larona shared a video of herself looking amazing as she promoted the whiskey brand. Larona is glowing and looks happy with the new job as an influencer.
Even though Larona faced a lot of scrutiny from television fans and her fellow cast mates, she was showered with love by Sindi Dlathu who plays Lindiwe on The River.
Sindi believes that Larona is destined for greatness and wished her the best in the rest of her journey.
Larona's three year run on The River came to an end when her character Tumi was killed off by Lindiwe. Taking to Twitter, Sindi wished Larona the best. She tweeted:
"The sky will never be the limit for you because you are destined for greater heights. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for you."
"Working with you every day was a joy. I am so proud of you Lareezy.”

Larona opened up about how it was to play the role of someone who people loved to hate, Tumi Mokoena on the show.
Larona said that she's always had a passion for acting, even though she started out by registering for a degree in Law at Wits University. Things finally opened up for her after she got the role of Tumi after a successful audition.
Larona did not have any acting experience prior to receiving the role on The River. She had only been in high school productions. Larona joined The River in 2018.
