A month ago, Tessica Brown from Louisiana hit global headlines after making a desperate appeal for help in removing Gorilla Glue from her hair.
The 40-year-old revealed that she had used the strong adhesive to lay her 'edges' when her hair gel ran out, but it was since stuck.
To rectify the error, Brown was offered free surgery (which would have cost hundreds of thousands) by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Michael Obent.
Her story received ridicule and sympathy in equal measure, but now she is back with not-so-sticky news, and this time all she is receiving are congratulatory messages.
The “Gorilla Glue girl,” as she has come to be fondly known, revealed on her Instagram page that she is pregnant with her sixth child.
“Blessed,” she captioned it.
The announcement brought back memories of her glue incident, with netizens creating light moments of the situation.
"Make sure you don’t put gorilla glue in the baby’s hair."
"Gorilla glue baby."
This will be the first child Brown is having with her current fiancé Dewitt Madison, having come with five children from a past relationship.
Madison too has four children from his past, making the current total nine as they wait for the 10th to join the family soon.
Brown and Madison dated years back but broke up before reuniting again in 2020 and going ahead to get engaged in June of the same year.
The pregnancy is welcome news, especially for Brown, who recently had a health scare after noticing masses on her breasts. Medical tests had revealed that they were not cancerous.
