An eyebrow-raising clip of an Old Apostolic church leader and one of his congregants having a bit of a pushing match has been shared online. In the clip, the leader of the church can be heard telling the congregants who were apparently late for church that they can't come into the church.
One of the latecomers, a young man dressed dapperly in a blazer and tie can be seen walking up to the church elder and then pushing him out of the way so that he can open the gate for the rest of the late-coming crew.
The stubborn elder still refuses to budge despite the gate being open and can then be heard saying something along the lines of "God loves you and you are blessed, but you are not coming into this church."
His words seem to be in vain because, at the end of the clip, a group of latecomers can be seen walking into the churchyard as if nothing happened. Locals had this to say about the funny and baffling clip:
Brian Sheggington said:
"This is gold."
Tinyiko Moyane said:
"Konakele emzantsi last week be ku kwa chesa mpama this week kwa John valigate nenzantoni laphe Eastern Cape."
Lerato Maithufi said:
"I love how the young family kept his faith and did not turn back big up to you my brother."
