Makwa also claimed that Mayibabo was not produced by Maphorisa, the producer says that he made the beat of the song in his grandmother's back room.
In an Instagram Live video, DJ Maphorisa slammed Nota Baloyi, Kwesta and Leeroy for not compensating him properly for the biggest song he's made to date.
"When Ngud' came out – I produced it. There is only one problem, when someone does something nice in your life, you have to appreciate it. After the track, Kwesta was Kwesta, but after Ngud', things changed," said Phori.
In other entertainment news, Briefly News reported that Maphorisa called Kwesta out for not paying him for Ngud'. Kwesta has been under fire from a few people in the entertainment industry in recent days. The latest celeb to call him out is DJ Maphorisa.
Taking to Instagram Live, Phori revealed that he produced Kwesta’s hit song Ngud'. The song went on to become one of the most popular rap songs in the country, however Phori did not receive a 'thank you cheque'.
Maphorisa expressed that he felt like Kwesta should have given him something to say thank you for the project, even a cash amount of R20 000. Social media users have shared their thoughts about Phori’s revelations.
